摘要: Fibre-hybrid composites are attracting an ever-increasing interest from academia and industry. It is therefore vital to develop a solid understanding of their basic mechanical properties. Measuring predicting the tensile failure hybrid however remains challenging task. This paper describes how develops in unidirectional (UD) composites, this can be predicted using fibre break models. also provides recommendations for experimental measurements effect, which synergetic increase strain low elongation fibres when hybridised with higher fibres. Finally, limitations our discussed future research proposed.
