摘要: Finland is one of the first countries to try solve most important and pressing problems facing mankind: secure final disposal high-level radioactive waste. Fortum Oyj Teollisuuden Voima (TVO), two companies that own existing nuclear power plants in Finland, formed 1996 a joint company, Posiva Oy, deal with their The site project create solution called Onkalo. construction at Olkiluoto South-Western began 2004; operating company aiming start high level waste 2020.
