摘要: Abstract Phages T2, T4, T5, and T6 fail to multiply in most cells of certain strains Escherichia coli or Shigella dysenteriae lysogenic for phage P2. Likewise, phages T1, T3, T7, P2 cannot P1. P1-lysogenic on which T1 has adsorbed but not multiplied, survive grow normally. Phage growth is suppressed at some stage following attachment. The succeed multiplying a few exceptional the strains. With P2, produce been modified such way as cells. Certain mutations streptomycin resistance alter response P1-and P2-lysogenic heterologous without changing prophages themselves. Loss prophage removes inability support multiplication phages.
