摘要: Abstract This work deals with the production of a high added value ether used as additive in aviation fuel. The was synthesized from iso -amylenes present C 5 , five-carbon isomer cuts petroleum distillates and -amyl alcohol found fusel oil industry. Qualitative analyses like mass spectrometry nuclear proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy confirmed formation structure proposed semi-renewable ether, molecular weight di-amyl (DAE). Optimization reaction parameters resulted conversion 48%, molar fraction, when using an adiabatic profile reactor. By this purification process, final product showed 98% w/w purity. presented physicochemical properties similar to commercial kerosene. evaluation performed mixtures kerosene relevant improvements, such reduction freezing point increase oxidation rate. results novel fuel has great potential be gas propulsion turbines flights is also strategic for military aircraft.
