摘要: Abstract The dynamics of high solids content miniemulsion polymerization vinyl acetate produced in a continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR), under different emulsification processes and hydrophobes were studied. In order to gain more insight into the process, previous kinetic study batch was performed. addition, rheological behavior latexes by compared with those obtained conventional emulsion. From experiments made mode, it observed that poly(vinyl acetate) or polystyrene as sole able create miniemulsions far time elapsed between sonication small. same CSTR, where feasibility systems eliminate oscillatory performance CSTR reactors, also at demonstrated. itself presence hydrophobe — without not enough avoid behavior. Further, shown viscosity beginning process is notably lower than emulsions, thus preventing initial mixing heating problems.
