摘要: The accident at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant seriously contaminated a large area in northeast Japan with amount of radioactive material. Consequently, various organisms, including arthropods, ecosystem have been radiocesium ((137)Cs) through food chain. We previously showed that web spider Nephila clavata was (137)Cs and level contamination, which varied among individuals, independent prey consumed. present study aimed to clarify mechanisms could determine contamination N. clavata. first demonstrated patterns contents over 30 elements were collected two forest sites (PS ES) then focused on relationships between alkali metals Li, Na, K, Rb accumulation spiders; Cs is an metal expected act similarly Rb. also content non-alkali element, Cu, essential element for oxygen transport spiders. found Na correlated positively both sites, suggested related dynamics Na. K-, Rb-, Cu-(137)Cs site specific; significant PS, but not ES. Factors causing specific probable pathway transfer from soil plants higher trophic levels are discussed terms processes metals.
