摘要: Extremadura (Spain), being one of the less-developed EU regions, is also eligible for European funds, including those related with development tourism activities in rural areas. To assess spatial distribution potential (RTP), a methodological approach was followed by combining synergetic use geographic information systems (GIS) and analytical hierarchical process (AHP). For evaluation model, six factors were examined hierarchized panel eighteen experts: accommodation offer, natural areas, gastronomic cultural activities, bath offer environments, active tourism. These then decomposed into thirty-two criteria relative importance their weights estimated using pairwise judgments. Using publicly available data volunteered (VGI) platforms, non-spatial collected, collated, standardized, employing appropriate tools developed open-source GIS software. The results, represented series intensity maps, indicate RTP scores, highlight strengths weaknesses each county, could serve as planning tool public and/or private investments.
