摘要: A method and system in which a section of previously encoded digital bit stream is replaced with another video. In order to remove video, it necessary determine the beginning ending points video digitally stream. The addresses data cannot be simply looked up but are calculated by summing bits consumed each picture, number sequence header Group Pictures (GOP) header, all stuff bits. encode inserted place removed process performed prevents decoding artifacts from appearing. This accomplished determining last P-picture before edit point using as reference frame for frames after point. Additionally, short period original its quantizer values included at end substituted. Alternatively, encoder may run so that an earlier picture not used. However, this requires extra maintain quality because initial bidirectional substitute will use only one instead two.
