摘要: Objective Autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP) is a peculiar type of presumed autoimmune etiology. However, target antigens for AIP have not been detected. Furthermore, its preponderant occurrence in elderly men and the very dramatic response with no major residual deformity to oral steroid therapy within 2 weeks suggest that pathogenesis might involve mechanism. Recently, it was reported immune reaction closely involved allergic disorders upregulated affected tissues AIP. This study aimed examine manifestations patients. Methods case series consisted 45 Present and/or past histories diseases, clinical findings, laboratory data were reviewed. Results Twenty patients (allergic-type AIP) had such as acute rhinitis (n= 11), including rose hay fever, atopic dermatitis 5), bronchial asthma 3), drug allergy 2), hypersensitivity pneumonitis 1). Serum IgE levels elevated only 12 allergic-type patients, they significantly higher than without (P = 0.0001). The peripheral eosinophil count =0.048). With respect initial symptoms, obstructive jaundice less frequent 0.012), abdominal pain detected five 0.013). Allergic-type occurred predominantly from September February 19 20 0.001).
