摘要: An asynchronous mode transfer (ATM) switch conducting switching based upon the calculation of weights for entries corresponding to cells in an input queue achieve a high throughput rate which avoids head line blocking. The includes cell scheduler driven by iterative resolution traffic matrix formed highest priority each plurality output ports queued queues having separate virtual ports. Conflicts are resolved according weight so that one entry per row is chosen be transmitted parallel. Selection winning from among group conflicting during any step selecting heaviest weighted and leaving remaining maximum satisfactory transmission opportunities. communicates with assign level port. calculated iteration function its all other common column. A subsequent conducted without winner same column as winner.
