摘要: A powerful approximate method for modeling the flow performance of perforated completions under steady-state conditions has been developed. The is based on representation perforation tunnels surrounding a wellbore by equivalent elongated ellipsoids. This makes possible an analytical treatment 3D problem in porous medium with complex multiple production surfaces. solution obtained vertical fully penetrating through horizontal formation presence permeability anisotropy. perforations are oriented horizontally, arranged almost arbitrary patterns, repeating along wellbore, and may have different lengths shapes. hydraulic resistances flowing inside them as well crushed zones around impaired neglected. found was verified comparing previous analytical/numerical solutions small number perforations. approach allows one to determine local skin or effective radius any interval, which can then be integrated into conventional calculations productivity used perforating gun selection during job design.
