摘要: A novel process of magnesium production has been developed by changing the preparation method pellets silicothermic process. For method, consist dolomite, ferrosilicon, fluorite and binder, which need to be roasted before reduction. However, discharge carbon dioxide reduces compressive strength during calcinations. Therefore, present paper reports effects calcination atmosphere, temperature insulation post-processing conditions on pellets. The results indicated that was increased with increasing temperature. value obtained in air larger than other atmospheres. reached 80N experimental condition. pellet reduced at 1473K for 60min reduction ratio 86.75%.
