摘要: The in vivo effects on the expression of adhesion molecules and between mononuclear cells multiple sclerosis human brain endothelial (MS-HBECs) were investigated at beginning beta-IFN-1b treatment MS patients. MS-HBECs isolated from a surgical specimen obtained an patient undergoing surgery for vascular aneurysm. 48 h after first single administration beta-IFN-1b, PBMNCs 10 patients analyzed HLA-DR, CD11a, CD18 VLA-4 both stimulated unstimulated evaluated. sICAM-1 sVCAM-1 dosage serum was checked as well. experiments repeated using HUVECs order to detect possible organ-specific differences. also performed six months beta-INF-1b HUVECs. No significant cells/endothelium detected h, but decreased months. An increase HLA-DR decrease monocytes. level increased T2 still higher than T0 effect HUVECs, selectively studied vitro by testing cytokine-induced ICAM-1 VCAM-1. confirmed that is able antagonize gamma-IFN-induced without relevant VCAM-1 ICAM-1.
