摘要: In the personal or service robotics domain a very close interaction between humans and robots is crucial. To ad- vance research in this field we have designed built humanoid robot HERMES. It shaped according to an anthropomorphic model equipped with two arms, bendable body, pan-tilt head video cameras omnidirectional wheelbase. combines visual, kines- thetic tactile sensing for enabling natural communica- tion humans. HERMES capable of speaker-independent speech recognition output. A special behavior-based system architecture employed integrate these key technologies. based on under- standing situations selection behaviors be executed. Implementing allows almost human-like communication makes appear intelligent.
