摘要: Abstract A novel optical fiber reflectance sensor is coupled to a multisyringe flow injection system (MSFIA) for the preconcentration and determination of 1-naphthylamine (NPA) in water samples using C18 disks (octadecyl groups). NPA, being first-class carcinogen, important from toxicological point view and, therefore, its quantification considerable interest. In this study, Griess reaction used sensitive selective spectrophotometric NPA. The involves conversion nitrite into nitrous acid acidic medium followed by diazotization sulphanilic formation diazonium salt. salt then combined with NPA form 4-(sulphophenylazo)-1-naphthylamine, an azo dye. This compound subsequently retained onto disk detection at 540 nm, it eluted methanol (80%, v/v), so that regenerated subsequent experiments. Under established optimum conditions, calibration graph was constructed. Good linearity observed within concentration range 10 160 μg l −1 . lineal regression equation = (0.0027 ± 0.0001) [NPA] + (0.0296 ± 0.0047), r = 0.9991; relative standard deviation values obtained analysis 10, 80 are 4.7, 1.2 0.6%, respectively. mean value errors concentrations 80, 3.4, 0.9 0.4%, limits were 1.1 3.7 μg l sampling throughput 14 injections per hour achieved. repeatability calculated five different E rel = 2.8%. proposed technique has been validated replicate ( n = 6) several spiked giving satisfactory results.
