摘要: Abstract Ethno-pharmacological relevance Tagetes patula L. an important medicinal plant of Asteraceae family is worldwide distributed and reported for its folkloric use in various disorders like skin, eye problems, injury stomach issues by different communities China, Nepal, India, Bangladesh Pakistan. Aim this review The present has focused the ethnomedicinal traditional uses T. patula with special reference to Asian countries. Chemical constituents pharmacological aspects was explored. After reading researchers may able find new insights further investigate plant. Revision literature Google scholar, PubMed, Science direct, were major search engines used get relevant information based on articles books. Results Discussion: ethno-botanical recorded, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-parasitic anti-diabetic potentials evaluated both vivo vitro described. toxicity or allergic manifestation also a section article. It rich source thiophene derivatives, flavonoids, carotenoids, terpenes terpenoids. Various gaps pointed out that need be investigated. Conclusion have been countries scientifically investigated depth several activities but more detailed mechanism-based studies linked particular lead compound targeted future.
