摘要: BACKGROUND AND AIM Non-invasive methods have been proposed as surrogate markers for liver biopsy. It was shown that serum hyaluronic acid (HA) and laminin (LN) levels increase with the development of fibrosis. The aim this study to determine HA LN cut-off points predicting fibrosis, highlighting their diagnostic value changes during treatment. METHODS Serum in chronic hepatitis patients (n=62) controls (n=20) were assessed by ELISA histopathological parameters evaluated modified Knodell score. RESULTS Mean (113.4 +/- 59.2 ng/ml) (91.9 20.9 concentrations greater than (46.6 10.5 46.1 10.1 ng/ml, p < 0.001). A strong correlation between hepatic necroinflammatory lesions found (p point 59.5 ng/ml 52.0 discrimination fibrosis from healthy 102.0 92.5 mild severe showed acceptable AUC, sensitivity specificity. After six months treatment, a gradual decrease observed, however still higher those 0.05). CONCLUSIONS could be used noninvasive biomarker discriminate individuals.
