摘要: There are two broad approaches to numerical ecological models, i.e. specific and generic. In the approach, biological quantities in model must be observed locally, which is often difficult or/and time-consuming. contrast, generic approach does not require local values of model, these being computed with equations. general, equations estimate models from easily environmental variables (e.g. temperature). Generic have both advantages drawbacks. On one hand, there no need locally system, same can applied homologous systems. other may fit less precisely situations than models. practice, combined, e.g. order obtain rapidly at least preliminary answers site-specific questions, simplified explore situations. When detailed required, constructed using parts existing an efficient use knowledge developed by international community, for resolving problems.
