摘要: Since 1990, the Standardization and Terminology Committee of International Society Biomechanics has been working towards a recommendation for standardization in reporting kinematic data. The paper, which is result those efforts (including broad input from members Society), intended as guide to presentation data refereed publications other materials. It hoped that some uniformity will make easier read allow more straightforward comparison sets different investigators. not restrict individual investigators manner they collect or process their Rather, it could be viewed “output filter” applied variety formats provide final product. ISB cognizant various attempts at are being pursued by organizations-such CAMARC Europe, Clinical Gait Laboratory Group U.S.A., professional groups such Scoliosis Research Society. Where possible, we have sought unanimity with these groups, but on issues where our society expressed strong opinions, have-at timesstated contrary view. One example point use center mass-based segmental reference frames. frames needed conventional dynamic analysis, should routinely used. We anticipate extension present document future include recommendations joint coordinate systems definition anatomical landmarks locating committee recognizes description movement joints best left who intimately involved study joints, therefore appointed subcommittees recommendations. Groups currently active ankle, hand, shoulder, spine, temporomandibular whole body wrist; interests explrtise actively sought. initial already published Newsletter, once discussed membership, subsequent published. presented framework progress can based. grateful former (notably Professors John Paul, David Winter, Don Grieve) many commented earlier drafts this recommendation. paper owes much work Sommer (1991).
