摘要: The principal members of the papova group are polyoma virus (Stewart et al., 1957), simian 40 (SV40), which is a vacuolating monkeys (Sweet and Hilleman, 1960), papilloma viruses (Melnick, 1962). name for this derived from first two letters names each that were included in group, papilloma, polyoma, 40–57 nm diameter and, as determined by negative staining, outer shell has symmetry T = 7 icosahedral surface lattice composed 72 morphological subunits (Finch Klug, 1965; Anderer 1967). contain no lipids therefore resistant to ether. Polyoma SV40 do not share common antigens, presently there evidence existence homology betweeen their DNAs. papovaviruses capable initiating lytic cycle replication or latent infection. For it difficult obtain suitable cell line can be studied; therefore, studies we will discuss concerning viral deal exclusively with polyoma.
