摘要: The ever-increasing volume of packaging waste is widely recognised as a key global environmental challenge. Packaging thus central concern for advocates and analysts circular economy (CEc), who often apply the life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology when measuring impacts products packaging. We undertook systematic literature review research method, in-depth analysis to ascertain extent which new CEc paradigm has been integrated in LCA applied beverage reported scientific papers. Carefully developed search strings returned 866 articles relevant our enquiry from databases SCOPUS Web Science. Applying selected eligibility criteria, we extracted subset 51 analysis. analysed shows links between quality material recycling profoundness studies. paper provides following set recommendations enhancing future practice development LCAs packaging: (i) taking all direct indirect factors into account assessing refillable system conducting break-even order achieve impartial comparative assessments single-use systems; (ii) developing proxies cases actual data lacking with model scenarios exported secondary materials hence improving accuracy rate models; (iii) definition function by introducing multiple loops qualitative changes resulting multiple-recycling process. Thus improved could better inform improve design strategies aimed at prolonging technosphere, equally fulfilling principles CEc.
