Classification of images in fog and fog-free scenes for use in vehicles

摘要: Today modern vehicles are often equipped with a camera, which captures the scene in front of vehicle. The recognition weather conditions this camera can help to improve many applications as well establish new ones. In article we will show how it is possible distinguish between scenes clear and foggy situations. proposed method uses only gray-scale images input signal running real time. Using spectral features simple linear classifier, achieve high detection rates both daytime night-time scenes. Furthermore, that our application area these outperform others.
