摘要: High-resolution aeromagnetic data of Nkalagu area, in the southern Benue Trough, Nigeria, were employed for determination sediment thickness and characterization magnetic anomalies area possible mineralization hydrocarbon prospect. Four methods depth estimates, namely Euler deconvolution, source parameter imaging (SPI), forward inverse modeling radially averaged power spectrum (RAPS), utilized, results compared. Standard deconvolution structural index (SI) 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 3.0 gave depths to sources that range from 0 1500 m, 300 3300 m, 4000 m 200 4200 m, respectively. Depth estimates (SPI) 135 2876 m spectral analysis RAPS revealed deep shallow with ranging 420 850 m, while ranges 3170 5840 km. profiles taken on total intensity contoured map modeled using techniques. The models suggest existence intermediate basic intrusives at between 545 1977 m. Generally, it is deduced pockets thick sedimentary piles are zones accumulation. Furthermore, clusters straight curvilinear lineaments a predominant NE–SW trend tilt derivative grid, reveals four high lineament density which favourable follow-up exploration base metal mineralization.
