摘要: : The removal of protein-bound substances pathogenetic relevance from blood is therapeutic interest for drug intoxications, renal and liver failure, metabolic disorders. Current methods using adsorbents are effective but often not specific enough. This work presents an alternative method that enables the dialyzability albumin-bound toxins plasma by use a high-flux dialyzer (F 60 Fresenius) albumin solution circulating on dialysate side to increase selectively affinity toxins. resulted in unconjugated bilirubin, drugs with high protein-binding ratio (sulfobromophtalein, theophylline), toxin (phenol). additional PBS could extend applicability dialysis, example, intoxications failure or improve elimination uremic chronic failure.
