摘要: It is commonly assumed that bats, due to their flight capacity, are not affected by landscape attributes across small geographic extensions. However, recent studies with phyllostomids have found evidence of negative responses, such as decreasing genetic diversity forest amount, specifically in areas dominated agricultural land. The purpose this study was evaluate if composition and configuration could be influencing the a common frugivorous bat: Artibeus jamaicensis. We worked an area characterized presence extensive land, trend towards open spaces high contrast forests. Through mtDNA control region sequences, we inferred levels surveyed landscapes. In order determine possible relationship between attributes, employed multivariate exploratory analysis allowed us independent contribution each variable, hierarchical model. total edge, which variable reflects degree fragmentation. This procedure can implemented population genetics, allowing incorporation spatially explicit variables.
