摘要: The authors present a remarkable site with interpretation: structured platform of dugong bones, containing skulls laid in parallel and ribs sets, together artefacts the Neolithic period. They propose that bones have been symbolically arranged mound as whole had ritual purpose – an interpretation endorsed by analogy platforms noted Torres Strait recent times.
