摘要: IEEE 802.11ad will take advantage of the luge swath available spectrum in 60 GHz band to develop a protocol enable throughput intensive applications such as wireless display and high speed sync-and-go file transfer. Functional requirements, evaluation methodology, channel models are currently being developed by task group preparation for call proposals. Likely enhancements 802.11 beyond new PHY include Personal Basic Service Set, MAC modifications directional antennas, fast session transfer between PHYs, beamforming, spatial reuse. Therefore this paper we give an overview 802.11ad, which is poised define next generation multi-Gbps Wi-Fi.
