摘要: 1. Experimental glutamate toxicity can occur in the respiratory system. Acute administration of high concentrations or agonist NMDA elicit high-permeability pulmonary edema and airway constriction. 2. Endogenous receptor activation may play a key role mediating oxidant lung injury, hyper-responsiveness, major feature bronchial asthma. 3. NMDA subunits have now been identified their distribution characterized rat lungs airways. Cellular localization definition possible physiological regulatory functions are subjects future investigation. 4. Understanding signaling should lead to introduction novel strategies for management diseases which as pathogenetic mechanism.
