摘要: Twenty lactating Holstein cows were used to determine the nutritional value of eastern gamagrass. Dietary treatments consisted 1) gamagrass hay and no corn (HNC), 2) silage (S) (SNC), 3) S low (SLC), 4) medium (SMC), 5) high (SHC). Gamagrass fed as or did not change (P>0.10) milk yield, but inclusion tended increase (P<0.08) yield. Yields protein (0.69 vs 0.80 kg/d), lactose (1.23 1.44 solids-not-fat (2.12 2.48 kg/d) be greater for SNC than HNC (P<0.08). Corn increased yields compared with SNC. resulted in a feed conversion efficiency (2.16 1.88; P<0.01). Adding reduced efficiency. Conversion N was (P<0.01) hay. Milk urea (MUN) concentration on all other treatments. Feeding significantly lessened MUN concentration. Including at levels further (P<0.05). Increased energy from level yield into protein. without improved status cows, indicated by lesser concentrations.
