摘要: Besides the macro-porosity, another key issue for filtration efficiency is influence of filter surface. Therefore, preparation alumina filters with a spinel coating as functionalized surface was investigated and optimized. Two different methods, spraying dipping into slurry combined centrifugation, were compared in terms cold compression strength homogeneity coating. Furthermore, application one or two sintering steps spinel-coated investigated. The best results regarding mechanical global local achieved centrifuged samples, which sintered times. In second step, without prepared focus on obtaining same porosity versions therefore thermal shock behavior tested “Small Impingement Test” using aluminum melt at temperature 750 °C. All pass Test”.
