摘要: Abstract The projections of neurons, in and around the A1 noradrenergic cell group caudal ventrolateral medulla (VLM), to nucleus solitary tract (NTS) were studied cat using anterograde transport Phaseolus vulgaris leucoagglutinin (PHA-L). PHA-L was microiontophoresed into region after a 7–17 day survival period animals sacrificed brainstem sections processed for or tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) immunoreactivity, injections within resulted labelled fibers with their presumptive terminal boutons primarily ipsilateral commissural medial subnuclei NTS. A light projection parvocellular, lateral NTS complex also observed. These data demonstrate that neurons project regions receive cardiovascular afferent inputs suggest VLM may influence activity involved reflex regulation circulation.
