摘要: The fluorescent emission from hexagonal ZnS and CdS single crystals is found to be polarized preferentially perpendicular the c axis for both unpolarized excitation. Cubic emit radiation. results are analyzed in terms of a simple dipole theory which shown inadequate description luminescent centers these materials. Preliminary observations on polarization fluorescence ZnO reported. (auth)
