摘要: The definition of tumor deposits (TD) in colonic adenocarcinoma has been modified different editions AJCC/TNM staging system. Studies have shown that the presence TD is associated with advanced growth and poor prognosis. Most these data were obtained patients simultaneous lymph node (LN) metastases. Reports focusing on impact without LN metastasis are limited. We retrospectively restaged all right-sided over a 10-year period using criteria from 5th, 6th, 7th AJCC edition. compared number nodule interpreted as each edition, evaluated stage migration caused by change. then assessed clinical significance edition comparing 5-year overall survival N1c vs. other N category (N0, N1, N2) similar T M status. showed average per case cases positive significantly decreased to 5th/6th; however, numbers <12 increased 5th/6th. These changes, resulted minimal effects final grouping. Our analysis had worse N0 patients. Although not statistically significant, hazard ratios indicated group might than N1 better N2 group. Therefore, we conclude predict patient outcome at least similarly LN.
