摘要: Licit substance use could be an early stage leading on to cannabis use. The aim of the study was test a hypothetical sequential process from socializing so as evaluate mediator role tobacco and alcohol. Data derived French nationwide survey carried out in 2005 involving 29,393 teenagers aged 17. analysis used structural equation modelling. sequence tested was: with friends-tobacco/alcohol use-cannabis disorders (CUD). Tobacco alcohol consumptions appeared similarly influenced by time spent friends. However, mediation explained 57% 61% CUD, while weaker, at around 13%. Our results underline effect peer influence, course night-out socializing, among adolescents, importance misuse. This suggests that prevention places frequented adolescents should primarily target consumption, which explains largest part variance. processes linking uses seem more complex, existence reverse pathways licit drugs. Thus, gateway effects require further exploration relation simultaneous polysubstance
