摘要: Abstract. This study presents two scientific and one operational retrieval algorithms used to obtain vertical distributions of bromine monoxide (BrO) from observations the scattered solar light performed by SCIAMACHY instrument in limb viewing geometry. The begins with a discussion theoretical basis all followed an investigation sensitivity. Simulations three different radiative transfer models allow us analyze influence forward model implementation upon results. By means synthetic retrievals we major sources uncertainties resulting BrO profiles such as cross sections, their temperature dependence, stratospheric aerosols. Finally, reliability profile is demonstrated comparing results each other balloon-borne observations.
