摘要: Abstract The crystal structure of the layered perovskite La1/3NbO3 has been studied between room temperature and 500 °C using synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction methods. shows ordering La cations at all temperatures. At is orthorhombic with NbO6 octahedra showing out-of-phase tilting about a-axis. This diminishes as increases, so that above 200 °C tetragonal. transition to tetragonal found be continuous analysis spontaneous strains it tricritical in nature.
