摘要: The dynamic stress path of a rock and soil mass under seismic action has crucial influence on its catastrophic behavior. In dynamics, earthquakes are commonly simplified as vertically incident shear waves the stresses in estimated based rigid foundation models. However, great effect P-waves should not be overlooked strong earthquakes, which have happened frequently recent years. characteristics longitudinal with significant oblique incidence still unclear. Analytical formulas for at any depth semi-infinite elastic space obliquely derived, degenerate into traditional method dynamics when both angle Poisson’s ratio taken zero. Here, we reveal fundamental P-waves. is proved mathematically to an ellipse plane normal difference horizontal stress. We identify factors affecting path, including angle, ratio, corresponding unit wavelength. possible variation range elliptic systematically analyzed, lays theoretical further study response sites waves.
