摘要: • Unlike a number of childhood problems, it is not clear that there are racial or socioeconomic disparities in the prevalence asthma. We analyzed data from Child Health Supplement to 1981 National Interview Survey, population-based survey with information concerning 15 416 children, address following questions: differences rates asthma; if yes, what contribution social and environmental characteristics observed differences? In this sample, black children were more likely have asthma than white (4.4% vs 2.5%). Racial emerged early at all ages due higher onset between 1 3 years.
