摘要: A method in accordance with the invention is implemented via a set of novel computer programs referred to for convenience as NEWPROG. "controller NEWPROG," resides one or more communication controllers on an SNA network "front end" processor NCP executing that controller. The controller NEWPROG uses interception techniques monitor controller's incoming and outgoing messages thereby 1) collect statistical information about performance, 2) exchange "backchannel" NEWPROGs operating adjacent controllers. can alter dynamically tuning parameters NCP.
