摘要: This paper applies an integrated approach to assessing urban sustainability in Dammam City, Saudi Arabia. The approach, based on geographic information systems (GIS), involves the evaluation of planning process, master plan and land use activities resulting from planning. It concludes that some aspects are not addressed by process document. document economic issues more than social environmental issues. result GIS-based assessment study area produces similar findings. develops a sustainable guidance makes recommendations
