摘要: This study investigated general morphology and immunohistochemical properties of nerve fibres supplying the mammary gland (MG) in European beaver. The microscopic analysis beaver revealed presence morphological structures which are characteristic for mammals. There were no distinct differences features between juvenile non-pregnant mature visualized using antibodies against protein gene product 9.5 (PGP) biologically active substances including β-hydroxylase tyrosine (DβH), neuropeptide Y (NPY), calcitonine gene-related peptide (CGRP) substance P (SP). has that MG is richly supplied with PGP-immunoreactive (PGP-IR) fibres. most abundant innervation was observed nipple less numerous terminals glandular tissue. Double-labelling immunohistochemistry disclosed majority PGP-IR associated blood vessels smooth muscle cells both tissue also DsH-IR. However, these than nipple. Most DsH-IR axons arteries entire stained NPY. Small number DsH/NPY-IR veins. CGRP-IR more those expressing SP. No distribution adult animals. remind previously described other mammalian species.
