摘要: The phenotypic plasticity and performance of two growth-forms Caulelpa racemosa (Forsskal) J. Agardh, one found in estuarine conditions, the other growing a coastal reef environment was studied laboratory culture. There no change morphology either growth-form when cultured through range salinity (10-40%0) light (20-140 IlEm-2s-1) conditions. performed better than low salinities (20%0), which suggests physiological adaptation to environment. It concluded that differences both types were fixed rather plastic. taxonomic status raised from variant C. Agardh new species, lagara sp. nov.
