摘要: BACKGROUND Exposure to dust is associated with a number of activities the mining industry at every stage output process. Crushing machines, paving loaders, drilling blast holes, loading and transportation excavated material are major sources emissions. The purpose this study was assess occupational exposure silica in hard brown coal mines Poland. MATERIALS AND METHODS Based on measurements inhalable respirable concentrations, performed by industrial hygiene laboratories various branches Polish from 2001 2005, detailed analysis all operating carried out, taking into account specific workposts. Measurements were made according current standards; Taverage degree dispersion, range results percentage exceeding standards workposts calculated. RESULTS highest concentrations (8.25 mg/m3) (3.11 dusts exceedances (74%) noted workers mines, employed directly In slightly lower found, levels both fractions obtained for involved raw (inhalable dust, 4.13 mg/m3 1.02 mg/m3). CONCLUSIONS still problem medicine. Particularly high often standards, found underground related transport materials machinery operation.
