摘要: A group of patients with left-sided symptoms Parkinson's disease (LPD) was compared a right-sided (RPD) and healthy age-matched controls on body-scaled judgements aperture width. Participants judged whether or not they would fit through life-sized schematic doorway shown large screen. staircase technique used to find the door width for which 50% were positive. The ratio between this measure participant's body at shoulders (the shoulder - A/S ratio) calculated. approximately 1.5 in LPD group, 0.9 RPD 1.1 control suggesting that visual representation (or its relationship perceived body-size) is compressed (and perhaps expanded RPD). ratios invariant viewing distance (0.6 m), contrast polarity display (white dark, vice versa) surround (blank, vertical horizontal stripes). findings are discussed reference neural external space body, motor problems disease.
