摘要: Carbon oxidation behaviors were illuminated in terms of gas composition a coin-type direct carbon fuel cell. The main species the anode chamber at 850 °C was mostly monoxide, which generated from chemical reaction and molten carbonates. concentration CO reduced as time passed because reactivity carbonates weakened. open circuit voltage directly dependent on concentration. gases had vertical distribution; highest lowest CO2 concentrations observed near electrode. However, polarization state less composition. A 150 mA cm–2 allowed CO, resulting an increased enlarged partial pressure facilitated generation through recombination carbonate ions (CO32–). Decreasing temperature 850 to 750 °C level monoxide anode. presence component concludes that solid takes place gasification then electrochemically CO2.
