摘要: We compared the clinical and radiological outcomes of two cementless femoral stems in treatment patients with a Garden III or IV fracture neck. A total 70 patients (70 hips) each group were enrolled into prospective randomised study. One received short anatomical stem other conventional stem. Their mean age was 74.9 years (50 to 94) 76.0 (55 96), respectively (p = 0.328). The follow-up 4.1 (2 5) 4.8 6), respectively. Perfusion lung scans high resolution chest CTs performed detect pulmonary microemboli. At final there no statistically significant differences between regard Harris hip score (85.7 (66 100) versus 86.5 100); p 0.791), Western Ontario McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (17 (6 34) 16 (5 35); 0.13) University California, Los Angeles activity (3 6) 4 6); 0.032). No patient had thigh pain, but 11 (16%) pain. symptomatic microemboli, microemboli (symptomatic three asymptomatic eight patients).
