摘要: Natural killer (NK) cells are an essential component of innate immunity. These lymphocytes also sensitive barometers the effects endogenous and exogenous stressors on immune system. This chapter describes a chromium (51Cr)-release bioassay designed to measure target cell killing capacity NK (NKCC). Key features cytotoxicity assay that it is done with whole blood numbers effector determined for each sample by flow cytometry lymphocyte count. Effector defined as CD3-CD56+ lymphocytes. Target K562 erythroleukemia line. Killing number killed per cell, at cell/target ratio 1:1 during 4-h in vitro assay.
