摘要: In order to study the effects of yttrium ion implantation on aqueous corrosion behavior zircaloy-4, specimens were implanted with ions using a MEVVA source at an energy 40 keV, dose range from 1 × 1016 1017 ions/cm2 about 150°C. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) was used obtain structural character yttrium-implanted zircaloy-4. The valence in surface layer analyzed by X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS). Three-sweep potentiodynamic polarization measurement employed evaluate zircaloy-4 N H2SO4 solution. It found that significant improvement achieved resistance compared as-received mechanism is probably due addition oxide dispersoid into zirconium matrix.
