摘要: Increasing oil prices and depletion of existing fossil fuel reserves, combined with the continuous rise in greenhouse gas emissions, have fostered need to explore develop new renewable bioenergy feedstocks that do not require arable land freshwater resources. In this regard, prolific biomass growth invasive aquatic weeds wastewater has gained much attention recent years utilizing them as a potential feedstock for production. Aquatic an exceptionally higher reproduction rates are rich cellulose hemicellulose very low lignin content makes efficient next generation biofuel crop. Considering their effective phytoremediators, review presents model integrated production, phytoremediation reduce land, fresh water fertilizer usage sustainable economical bioenergy.
