摘要: Incidence of wave breaking for pure wind driven waves has been studied on Lake Washington at speeds up to 8 m s−1. Video recordings were employed identify and categorize the events in terms micro-scale, spilling plunging breakers. These correlated with magnitude spectrum measured a resistance wire gauge band pass filtered between 6 10 Hz. An equivalent percentage crests found events.
